And there aren’t enough “thank you’s,” “hallelujahs,” or “Lord, I love you’s” to express how grateful I am that He is the risen Savior. I’m FREE all because He lives. 💕🤍🌼

“Don’t compare your chapter 1 with somebody else’s chapter 20.” We’ve all heard this famous phrase, but can we all agree that it’s easier said than done? 🙋🏽‍♀️😩

Using this chapter stuff as a metaphor, let me explain how this typically affects someone like me. 😂 Being a visionary, I tend to always see the full picture (chapter 20). Being a builder, I know how to think in steps (how to get from chapter 1 to chapter 20). But something that God has been trying to teach me in this season is how to scale (knowing what chapter 1 looks like and being okay that it doesn’t look like chapter 20). 
For example, one of my life goals is to be a New York Times best-selling author and write full-time, but I wanted to go from where I am now to somehow magically becoming the best-selling author without finding ways to scale towards the vision. (The way I’m trying to produce the fruit of patience right now 🙃😅😂)

The truth is we ALL have to start somewhere, but the beautiful thing about purpose is you may be doing the same thing at chapter 1 that you are doing at chapter 20, but the scale of how it looks may be different. That’s why the Bible tells us not to despise small beginnings.

When God calls you to do a thing, He’s not just looking for your surrendered willingness to do what He says, He’s looking for your expectation.

The Bible says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Sometimes you’re not gonna see “it” whatever “it” is until an appointed time, but God wants to see your expectation anyway! So start expecting “it” to happen and when you don’t see it, go back and look again!

When things don’t seem to be panning out…
When the finances look funny…
When the numbers are low…
When people are supportive but not invested…

EXPECT. EXPECT. EXPECT.

Faith doesn’t give up. Faith doesn’t quit pre-maturely. Faith doesn’t start a pity party. Faith doesn’t get discouraged. Faith continues to believe and EXPECT no matter the circumstance.   Today, I declare an increased measure of faith over your life! The thing WILL come to pass.

When I officially started my blog back in 2017, I never wanted to be “the expert” or main speaker. Even as online courses became increasingly popular, I knew I didn’t really want to be an online educator or content creator. To be honest, I didn’t even have a desire to be a mentor.

Now has God used me to mentor, teach, speak, create, etc.? Yeah, all those things (and I’m still trying to figure out why 😂)! But the goal even to this day still remains the same.

I just want to be a friend. The friend that makes you realize you aren’t alone. The friend that reminds you that you‘re not crazy. The friend that comes alongside you on this journey called life and prays the heavens down for you. The friend that connects you with resources and people that could really help with where you are in the moment.

Because at the end of the day, I could sell a course. I could write a book. I could create more content but all I’m really passionate about is telling the whole wide world about a God who radically changed my entire life and saved me from myself. 😭 Now how all of that plays out? I’m still figuring it out, but I have a feeling that this year, God is giving me more grace to do it. 🤍

I have been SO stirred up since this morning (watch my story to see why 😭), and I just felt led to do something different and post a quick prayer tonight. So here we go. ❤️

God, thank you for the person reading this post. Thank you that your promises to them are yes and amen! Thank you for your Son who died a death we deserved and as a result, we have been raised to life in You.

So I declare freedom in their mind!
I declare prosperity in their life.
I declare wholeness in their soul.
I declare victory in their heart.
And favor in their relationships.

I thank you that no weapon formed against them will prosper and when the enemy comes in like a flood, you will raise up a standard against him. So give them a FRESH encounter with You. Overwhelm them with Your presence and love. Touch them in a way only you can!

Do the impossible in their life and bless them exceedingly, abundantly above all they can ask, think, or imagine. In Jesus Name, amen!

These lyrics from @brandonlake’s song, “Just Like Heaven,” are really just the cry of my heart this morning and they will be my forever prayer for anyone my life touches — that people will know without any shadow of doubt the love of the Father that radically changed my entire life.

When I couldn’t love myself.
When I had no one to turn to.
When I was broken and lost.
When I sought after man’s approval.
When I failed to see myself through God’s eyes.

Jesus is just so much better than anything this world can offer. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and He continues to overwhelm me with His kindness. So thankful for my Jesus. ❤️

People have been posting photos dumps, but can I do a lesson dump? Here’s a few I’ve been learning recently. ☺️

Your mindset is literally everything. If you can change your thoughts, you can change your life. And you can control how you feel about something simply by how you choose to think about it.

Discipline is not for the faint of heart. Like writing these blog posts... they aren’t gonna write themselves 🙃 And if I’ve made a commitment, then I just need to figure out how to get it done.

If you really want something (and God has led you to do it), you’ll do what you have to do to make it happen. No self-limiting beliefs aka excuses with money, time, resources, etc.

Asking for help is not a crime. In fact, the more you try doing something on your own, the more you will try to do it in your own strength rather than trusting the provision and resources God has placed around you. People are one of the greatest assets you can have.

Take things one step at a time. No need to overwhelm yourself by thinking about the full picture when God already has that part all figured out. 😉
